What Does a Playtest Look Like?

As a playtester, you'll get early access to a variety of unreleased games. Help shape a better gaming experience for everyone by sharing your honest thoughts, both positive and constructive.

HOW TO SIGN UP

  • Install Razer Cortex
  • Click on “Playtest”
  • Sign up!

  • After signing up, we’ll let you know when you’re eligible for a playtest!

If selected for a playtest, you’ll be asked to sign an NDA. This ensures that we keep all information from the playtest confidential.

After signing the NDA, you’ll be emailed a download link for the game. Once installed, you can launch the game directly through Razer Cortex!

You’ll have a window of time to playtest, where you’ll be asked to play a minimum number of hours, and to provide feedback.

WHAT CAN YOU EARN?

  • Earn up to 100,000 Razer Silver for eligible Playtest Sessions!

  • Who is “Side”? When i click the NDA link it brings me to their website.

    The Playtest program is in collaboration with Side, award-winning game services company. This is the correct website.

  • Is the program on-site or remote?

    Remote! All playtests are hosted through Razer Cortex.

  • I signed up but can no longer play during the test. Can I drop out without being penalized?

    We understand emergencies happen. If you have to miss a playtest, that is okay, but if it happens repeatedly, you may be ineligible for future tests.
